"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2:11
While I'm sure everyone will agree 2020 has been a tough year in more ways than one. Many have lost loved ones, jobs, homes, their health and hope. Through all of this despair lets take solace in that on this day a savior was born to us in Jesus Christ. He was born to preach and teach the word of God and ultimately die a horrifying death by crucifixion to pay for our sins and redeem us before the Father. He did this to offer us salvation and reserve us a place in heaven. I say offer because I don't think we can just waltz into God's kingdom without paying a price of our own and it does not come close to the price Jesus paid. We just need to live our lives in a godly way following the do's and don't written for us in the bible and accepting Jesus Christ has our Lord and Savior...then share the word and try to build on and increase the size of the Lord's flock even though we know there will be more rejection than acceptance as well trials and temptations put in our paths along our journey there will also be persecutions to deal with but stand firm brothers and sisters. We win in the end.
Merry Christmas to all and I hope you have a safe and happy holiday season and may 2021 bring you much joy and happiness.
